We are looking for a talented Computer Operator to be part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition of E&P data from various sources to digital storage, as well as the reverse process of outputting digital data to different media formats.

Key Responsabilities :

Exceed daily goals : under the guidance of your supervisor and team lead, you work diligently to meet and exceed daily targets

Master data formats : you are the expert in distinguishing between various data formats and media types, ensuring accurate formatting and conversion of substance data

Data transcirption : transcribe data using a variety of media, drives and software

Quality control : perform quality checks on subsurface data against media labels and indexed information, ensuring data integrity

Documentation : keep our internal applications up to date with comments and billing information for each project

Tape maintenance : utilize tape cleaning devices to ensure tapes (9 tracks) are clean and ready for data reading

Your superpowers :

Your commitment to safety is paramount

Strong computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel

Physical stamina : be ready to lift up to 50lbs (23kg) while adhering to our rigorous safety standards

Communication Pro : your written and verbal communication skills are the key in collaborating effectively with our team

Team player : a collaborative spirit is essential in our work environment

High school diploma or equivalent

First working experience in the E&P industry or related field

Familiarity with E&P Data Management requirements and expectations

English and french required

Working conditions:

Professional Internship for 3 months, as soon as possible

Meals provided by the company and delivered to our beautiful dining area
