As part of our growth, we are recruiting a PostgreSQL DBA to join the development team. Your role is a critical responsible for ensuring the stability, security and optimal performance of our PostgreSQL database systems. If you are a skilled database administrator with a passion for data integrity and efficiency, we’d like to hear from you.
Here are the missions and challenges :

– Database installation and configuration of PostgreSQL database : set up and configure replication, clustering and backup solutions for high availability
– Performance tuning : monitor and analyze database performance, optimize SQL queries and database schema for improved efficiency
– Data security : implement and enforce data security policies, perform security audits and updates to adress security vulnerabilities
– Backup and recovery : develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies, ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness
– Database design and optimization : collaborate with developers to design and optimize database schémas
– Monitoring and alerting : create and manage alerting systems for immediate response to critical events
– Documentation : maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures and policies
– Database troubleshooting
– Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks

Your Superpowers :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of PostegreSQL database internals and architecture
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
Understanding of database performance optimization techniques
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
